Meet Joaquin! This gentle, shy sweetheart was born beside a busy road in Puerto Vallarta, and while he and some of his siblings faced tough beginnings, Joaquin has blossomed into a 50lb soft soul. He loves other dogs and possesses the sweetest, quietest spirit. Joaquin is healthy, thriving, and ready for a family who will cherish his gentle heart.

Ideal Home

Joaquin would thrive in a calm environment with a patient, loving adopter. While he's great with other dogs, having another friendly dog in the home would be a bonus for him as he adjusts.

Transportation

Joaquin is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We can arrange transportation to the US and Canada. Approved adopters will be matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta, and you can meet your new pup at the airport. If a Canadian flight companion is unavailable, especially during the summer months, dogs may fly into the US and can be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. We have successfully facilitated many summer adoptions with volunteers assisting in bringing dogs to adopters at the border.
