He's a professional snuggler, a gentle kiss distributor, a squeaky toy enthusiast, and an emotional support sidekick who is convinced everyone was invented to love him. This adorable pup, suspected to be a Pit Bull/Pointer mix, is the definition of soft-hearted sweetness. Button is confident, incredibly affectionate, and quickly forms a bond with people, greeting every new human with enthusiasm, "Hi!!! Are you my best friend now?" He loves attention and has that wonderful "Velcro-dog" quality, staying close to his person without being demanding. And let's not forget his ears – one spotted, one solid, both impossibly floppy and charmingly bouncy! Button is a gentle observer around other dogs, showing respectful and submissive social skills. He enjoys playing with friendly and easygoing dogs but prefers a softer, sweeter play style and would do best with canine companions who are kind and not overly pushy. He handled new environments, loud noises, and handling exercises with calm acceptance, freezing briefly when unsure and easily reassured. He showed excellent tolerance during handling, including his paws, ears, and face. Button has a balanced energy level, enjoying toys, exploring, and adventures, but happily settles down after exercise. He has never barked during his time with us and is content with affection and his beloved stuffies. Button showed respectful interactions with cats and is very sweet with children, offering gentle kisses and snuggles. He would thrive in a confident, reassuring home that helps him continue building his confidence.
