Poplar is an adorable Husky mix puppy who, along with his siblings, has never known life without love and safety. Their mom was welcomed into rescue while pregnant, giving her the chance to bring her babies into the world somewhere warm, secure, and surrounded by people who cared. Now these happy, healthy pups are ready to find families of their own! Like all puppies, they're curious, playful, and learning about the world one adventure at a time. Whether they're chasing toys, tumbling around with their siblings, or curling up for a well-earned nap, every day is full of new discoveries. Because they're Husky mixes, their future families should be prepared for intelligent, energetic dogs who will thrive with training, exercise, and plenty of mental enrichment. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, these puppies have all the potential to grow into wonderful lifelong companions. Ideal Home
Poplar needs a home with a yard, and cannot live in an apartment. While he is good with other dogs, he does not need to live with another dog. As he has had no exposure to children or cats, we are looking for a home with no children or cats.
Ongoing Health
Poplar is still too young to be neutered, but this will be a requirement of adoption.
Training & Support
Poplar is working on being house trained and crate trained. As with all puppies, he will have bursts of high "puppy" energy followed by a crash and recovery period where he needs to be allowed to nap. He is also a puppy and will chew, especially when teething, and will need to be redirected and provided with safe teething chews. All dogs should be treated as a flight risk until they are bonded with their owners.
