Leela Lou Lovey is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy, and to top it all off, she is absolutely adorable! Her confident demeanor, constant happiness, and out-of-this-world satellite ears are what we love most about her. She's sure to steal your heart and fill your life with endless joy and laughter.
She is believed to be a pittie/lab mix, approximately 3 years old, and weighs 55 lbs. As with any rescue, breed and age are a mystery, and we cannot guarantee them.
Ideal Home
Leela absolutely adores people and truly has no concept of "stranger." She's a social butterfly who loves being the center of attention, making her the perfect companion for those who enjoy hosting and having friends over. She's happy to greet guests and add to the fun without being overwhelming. Leela would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can enjoy zoomies and playtime with her favorite toys. While she's great with other dogs in public and has participated in playgroups, she would be happiest as the one and only fur baby in the home, soaking up all the love and companionship.

Leela is a healthy, active dog. All necessary vetting has been completed.
Training & Support
Leela is crate-trained and potty-trained, and she already knows basic commands like "sit." She is eager to please and highly motivated by treats, making any future training enjoyable and successful.

Leela is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
