Eli

Eli is a very sweet dog who is eager to find his forever home! He was rescued from a situation where he was left outside in freezing temperatures without shelter, but thankfully, he's now safe and looking for a loving family. Eli is an active pup who would make an excellent hiking and walking companion. He's already mastered walking nicely on a leash, even knowing how to "heel" beside you! He's done well meeting new adult friends and has also had positive interactions with a 10-year-old. Eli is good with other dogs, though he prefers to enjoy his meals solo. He's a smart and food-motivated boy who has learned to sit before going in and out of the yard. Eli rides well in the car, is crate trained, and house trained. When he's not exploring, he enjoys simply relaxing in the grass. He also loves toys and knows the difference between what's his to play with and what's off-limits. Eli will happily settle in beside you and even lay down when on leash.

Ideal Home

Eli would thrive with an active family who can keep up with his love for walks and hikes. He enjoys his meals without sharing, so a home that can accommodate this is ideal.

Eli is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Eli is house-trained and crate-trained. He is also learning basic commands like "sit" and knows how to walk on a leash in a heel. He is food-motivated and intelligent, making him a joy to train further.
