Ricardo P

Ricardo P is a handsome 3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who weighs about 75 lbs. He was rescued from a shelter in Texas after being unfortunately dumped by his previous owners. He was initially very sad and untrusting, but with the help of a wonderful foster, he's learning to open up and receive love. His foster describes him as a "big baby" who craves attention and affection. Ricardo is good with other dogs and seems to have had positive interactions with younger children. He's a smart, loyal, and protective boy who will make a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Ricardo needs a stable home with an experienced adopter who understands that he needs time to adjust to a new environment and build trust. He would do best in a home without small children.

Ricardo is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

While Ricardo is house-trained, he is still learning to trust and adjust to new people and places. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to his continued success.
