Deepali is a resilient and loving girl who has overcome a lot to find her forever home. She was found in poor condition but has since blossomed in her foster care, showing her true sweet nature. Despite her past, she's eager for affection and enjoys a good snuggle in her crate with her favorite donut bed and a special bucket for her kibble. While she can be a bit vocal about her food, she's a 42 lb bundle of charm and her "bark" is definitely bigger than her "bite." Deepali is estimated to be between 4-6 years old, mature but still full of life, and her unique "dancing" feet are just part of her spunky personality! She's already spayed, up to date on vaccines, and has been treated for heartworms. She's also housetrained and crate-trained.
Ideal Home
Deepali could be a wonderful companion as an only dog, especially in a smaller living space where she can enjoy leashed walks for exercise.
Ongoing Health
Deepali is believed to be a survivor of distemper, which may cause some permanent nervous system damage resulting in a noticeable twitch in her hindquarters. This condition does not seem to bother her, and she remains active and happy. She has been treated and is now heartworm-negative.
Training & Support
Deepali resource guards her food and may give a warning growl if she feels her food is being challenged. While she is described as "all bark, no fight," it's important to manage her food environment carefully to prevent any potential issues.
