Eleanor is a sweet 8+ year old female Shih Tzu who arrived at our shelter on June 29, 2026. As dogs get older, their eyes can change, showing the gentle signs of a life well-lived. This is a natural part of aging and often doesn't take away from the love, joy, or companionship they have to give. Eleanor is a senior dog, but she doesn't act like it! She still gets excited for walks and wags her tail when she sees you. Eleanor absolutely loves belly rubs and will happily roll over to soak up every bit of affection you have to offer. Her heart is as full of love as ever. Eleanor simply hopes someone will look beyond the changes and see the incredible heart behind those eyes.
