Meet Zeus – Waiting for His Second Chance
Zeus is a 1 ½ to 2-year-old Bully mix who has already been through so much in his short life. He and his sister, Foxy, lost their home when their family could no longer care for them. They entered the local shelter in November 2024 and Zeus spent months waiting behind kennel bars before coming into Lucky Paws Doghouse on June 11th, 2025. Despite everything, Zeus is still the sweetest boy. He gets along with other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and loves yard time to run and play. Zeus is also friendly, affectionate, and gentle, and he does well in his kennel without making much of a mess.
Ideal Home
Zeus would thrive in a home where he can enjoy yard time and has companions to play with.
Ongoing Health
Zeus has tested heartworm positive and is currently on slow-kill treatment. He is neutered, vaccinated (DHLPP 9-in-1, Rabies, Bordetella), wormed, and on monthly flea/tick prevention. A health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport.
Training & Support
Zeus walks nicely on a leash and does well in his kennel.

Zeus is located in Oklahoma. He can be transported to the following cities:
New York (Buffalo, Rochester, Rye, Albany, Mohawk/Herkimer), Illinois (Chicago, Springfield), New Jersey (Trenton, Ridgefield, Sewaren), Oregon (Portland, The Dalles), Montana (Missoula), Indiana (Michigan City, Spiceland), Idaho (Boise), Colorado (Denver), Michigan (Battle Creek), Ohio (Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati), Connecticut (Enfield, Darien, Union), Pennsylvania (Allentown, Pittsburgh), Virginia (Haymarket), Minnesota (Minneapolis), Wyoming (Cheyenne), Maryland (Baltimore).
Please note: Zeus cannot be adopted into Washington State or Wisconsin due to his heartworm positive status.
