Lucky is a handsome, approximately 1-year-old, 53 lb Pittie mix with a soulfully charming personality and a big, happy grin that’s sure to win you over. He's a curious and eager companion, happiest when he's experiencing life right alongside his favorite people. Lucky adores people and greets everyone with a wagging tail and a willingness to lean in for affection. He's a goofy, sweet boy who loves to be involved in whatever you're doing. Lucky enjoys puzzle toys, licky mats, and enrichment games that engage his smart mind. His adventurous spirit shines through, especially during his favorite trips to the beach, where he delights in exploring the shoreline and sniffing out new discoveries.

Lucky would thrive in a semi-active household that enjoys including their dog in daily life. A calmer environment with structure, routine, and engaging activities will help him settle in and truly shine. He's a people-focused dog who enjoys attention but is also perfectly content as an only pet.

Lucky is believed to be a Pittie mix, and as with any rescue, breed and age are best guesses. He has received all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and is spayed/neutered.
Training & Support
Lucky is a smart boy who enjoys using his brain and body. He does best when he has outlets that keep him engaged and fulfilled. He rides well in the car, loads easily, and walks nicely on a gentle leader. He's been assessed by trainers on staff and has received individualized behavior plans, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Lucky is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide with our USDA-certified transport system, including drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
