Duke is a sweet senior boy looking for a second chance at a happy life. He arrived at our shelter when his previous owners moved and left him behind. After arriving, he was taken to the vet where three masses were removed from his head, right side, and knee. He's all healed up and ready to find his forever home! Duke is happy and excited to greet new people, and he already knows how to sit, shake, and take treats gently. He's an excellent walker on a leash, though he can be a little wobbly on his legs, so he may benefit from joint supplements or arthritis injections. Duke is a big fan of squeaky toys and can entertain himself for hours. He enjoys showing off his toys but has trouble releasing them, so multiple toys will be needed for a game of fetch. He's friendly and happy when meeting other dogs and still wants to play, though he did try to mount a couple of times. Duke is curious when introduced to cats. His experience with children is unknown.
