Diesel

Diesel, a 5-year-old neutered male Rottweiler, weighs approximately 105 lbs of pure love! This big, silly goofball is a sweetheart who enjoys car rides for hot dogs and attention from drive-thru staff. He's also a fan of playing with his favorite toys, like his soccer Jolly Ball and flexible Kong frisbee, and loves exploring on walks, both on a 30-foot lead and a shorter 6-foot leash. Diesel has been working on his leash manners and, while he can pull when he sees reactive dogs, he generally walks well. He's also known to be respectful and playful with his canine companions.

Ideal Home

Diesel would do best in a home with a low-energy canine sibling who is also respectful and won't jump on him, as he has hip dysplasia.

Ongoing Health

Diesel has hip dysplasia, which is being monitored. He has a good prognosis for a happy and healthy life with regular medication.

Training & Support

Diesel is potty trained and crate trained (accustomed to an XXL crate). He knows basic commands like "sit" and "stay." He can pull on the leash when he sees reactive dogs, but otherwise does well.
