FRANNIE (Loves Kids, Dogs, Playing in the Back Yard & Water See video)

Frannie is a beautiful, shiny, 3.5-year-old female Black Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier mix. This petite, small-framed girl weighs about 50 pounds and is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her shots. Frannie is a true water dog who thrives on adventures by the lake, river, or beach. She loves paddleboarding, boating, camping, and simply lounging in nature. Her foster mom notes that she's not sure you'll be able to keep her out of the water, so a life jacket might be a good idea!

Despite a difficult start in life, including having 8 puppies in a home without affection and intervention from animal control, Frannie is resilient, sweet, and ready to trust again. Her puppies have found wonderful homes, and now it's Frannie's turn to embark on adventures with her forever family. She is house-trained, crate-savvy, and loves playing in the backyard.

Ideal Home

Frannie would thrive in a home that offers plenty of outdoor space for her to run and play. She loves kids and enjoys playtime but also understands the need for personal space. She is good with other dogs but can become stressed if there are too many dogs in the home. She would do best as an only dog or with one gentle canine companion. Her ideal family will be patient and loving, showing her what true affection feels like.

Ongoing Health

Frannie is currently on her shots and has been spayed and microchipped. She is described as a little "pudgy" after a long winter and could afford to lose about 5 pounds.

Training & Support

Frannie is house-trained and crate-savvy, enjoying her crate. She loves to play in the backyard.
