Duncan

Duncan is the sweetest little boy, approximately 1 year old and weighing in at 19 lbs. He's a typical multi-breed mix with a lot of Chihuahua in him! Duncan loves to play with his squeaky toys, and absolutely adores getting lots of petting and attention. He's a quiet and well-behaved pup who seems to be pretty well house-trained and does pretty well on a leash, though he could use a little more training.

Ideal Home

We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued. He has been treated following The American Heartworm Society protocols and we typically find that dogs test negative in 4 to 6 months. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (including Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza), and are on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas/ticks, and parasites.

Training & Support

Duncan is pretty well house-trained and does fairly well on a leash, but could benefit from a little more training.

Duncan is currently in foster care in Houston, Texas. The adoption fee includes transportation.
