PENNY

Penny is a shy, nervous girl who is blossoming with patience and TLC. This lovely black shepherd mix is about 5-6 years old and is spayed. She enjoys being brushed but isn't a fan of bath time. Penny walks well on a leash, though she can be startled by loud noises, so a calm environment would be ideal. She seems to be housebroken and is comfortable in her crate. Penny is still learning to trust, and it's important to approach her slowly, giving her time to adjust.

Ideal Home

Penny would do best in a home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. A patient and understanding family is a must.

Ongoing Health

Penny is heartworm positive and is scheduled to begin her treatment soon.
