Hi there, I'm Millie, a sweet, smart, and food-motivated 12-year-old, 50-pound pit bull mix looking for my forever family. I'm spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also house, crate, and leash trained, and I walk great on the leash. I absolutely love car rides! I've had some challenges in my life and have issues with men, but I can overcome them with patience and trust. I can also be a fear snapper, so I need a calm and confident person who can help me feel safe and secure. Because of my fears, I tend to guard resources, meaning I will guard food from other dogs and treats from humans. I will react if you approach me before I am finished with my bone.
Ideal Home
I would do best with older children who will understand that I am a scared dog and can respect my boundaries and not startle me. I'm also selective with other dogs, but I do like some of them. I prefer a friendly and easygoing dog who won't bother me too much. I am not friendly with cats. I am looking for a responsible and caring person who can give me a loving and peaceful environment.
