Bert

Bert is a handsome, 5.5-month-old Great Pyrenees with a heart full of farm-fresh charm! He's an independent boy who spent his early months exploring a farm, so he's had plenty of experience with a variety of animals, including cats, sheep, turkeys, ducks, chickens, and cows. While he's a natural on the farm, Bert is looking for a new role as a beloved family dog rather than a working partner. If you're searching for a confident and food-motivated companion, Bert is ready to wag his way into your heart!

Ideal Home

Bert would thrive in a home that appreciates his independent spirit and his experience with other animals.

Ongoing Health

Bert is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. He will be microchipped and have a health exam completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure. He will also be current on flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Bert is food-motivated, which can be a great asset in training. Given his farm background, he's ready to transition into a family pet and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and socialization as he grows.

Transporation

Bert is currently fostered in Texas but is available for adoption and transport out of state to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. Adoption interviews and meet-and-greets for out-of-state adoptions are conducted via video call.
