Oscar

Oscar is a big lover boy whose nub tail is always wagging. He's a big goofball but also incredibly sweet and loving, eager to give and receive affection. He knows "sit" and "shake," and he's never had an accident in the house or his kennel. Oscar is a gentle soul who takes his treats with extreme politeness, and he doesn't beg. While he gets a little excited when meeting new people or upon re-entering after being outside, he settles down quickly. Our vet estimates him to be around 6 years old, but he has a youthful spunk that defies his age.

Ideal Home

Oscar would do best in a home with a dog close in size that also enjoys playing.

Ongoing Health

Oscar is neutered, current on vaccines, and heartworm negative thanks to a ProHeart 6 treatment. He is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Oscar is house-trained and reliably uses his kennel. He is learning to manage his excitement with new people and when coming inside, and he settles quickly.

Oscar is currently in a foster home in Shreveport, LA. We do adopt out of state, and transport can easily be arranged.
