Lilly

Hi there! I’m Lilly, a sweet and slightly shy two-year-old pit bull and Aussie mix. I weigh about 34 pounds, and while I love a good cuddle session and will melt into your lap, I also have plenty of energy for playtime once I feel comfortable. My sister Piper and I are a bonded pair, and I’m very nurturing towards her, so I’d likely do best in a home with another dog so we can all be pals! I’m crate trained and generally walk well on a leash, though I might get a little nervous and sit down sometimes. Just be patient with me, and I’ll get the hang of it quickly! While I’m not quite potty trained yet, my foster family thinks I’ll pick it up quickly, just like my brother did! I absolutely adore kids and get along swimmingly with other dogs. I’m not a food guarder and I don't react to barriers. I haven't been tested with cats, but I'm not very prey-driven, so I think I could do well with them if given the chance! Once I warm up to you, I’m all affection and playful energy!

Ideal Home

A home with another dog would be ideal, as I do best with canine companionship. I love children and get along wonderfully with other dogs. I can be cat-tested if needed.

I will be spayed and fully vaccinated before my adoption.

Training & Support

I am not fully potty trained yet, but I'm a quick learner and anticipate picking it up within a couple of weeks. I can get a bit nervous on walks and may sit down, but patience and positive reinforcement will help me gain confidence.

Transporation

I am currently located in Burkesville, KY. I can be transported out of state for the right home, though a transport fee may apply if volunteer transport is not available.
