Cara is a delightful seven-month-old mixed-breed female, spayed and ready to find her forever home! Her mother appears to be a Shepherd-Pyrenees mix with a beautiful cream coat, and her wavy fur suggests a touch of Chesapeake Bay Retriever. We don't have information about her father. Cara was born into a loving home where her mother had been taken in as a stray. She then joined our rescue at four months old. Cara is a smart, affectionate girl with just the right balance of energy and a chill demeanor. She was spayed in February 2026 and received all her necessary vaccines, including rabies and Bordetella, and was also heartworm tested.

Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- The total adoption cost is $175.
- A $75 transport fee is required to secure transport from our rescue in Texarkana, Texas, to one of our seven designated locations.
- The remaining $100 adoption fee is due upon pickup.
- You can designate someone else to pick up your pet.
- Once your application is approved, you will receive an "Approval Letter" followed by the "Transport Roster Information form" which will guide you to select your pickup location and pay the transport fee.
Transportation
Cara is currently located in Texarkana, Texas. She can be transported to one of the following seven cities once pre-adopted: Poplar Bluff, Missouri; Arnold, Missouri; Springfield, Illinois; Bloomington, Illinois; Rockford, Illinois; Madison, Wisconsin; and Kalamazoo, Michigan. Transport is available for pre-adopted pets.
