Meet Texas, a handsome 5-year-old, 47-pound Pit Bull mix with a heart full of love to give! Texas is a wonderful canine companion who adores his humans and enjoys being a great cuddler. He lives for his daily walks and hikes, and his favorite playtime activity is scooting his back on the grass in the yard. Texas is also a well-behaved boy who appreciates carrots for good behavior and loves to join his family for meals on the patio. When it's time to rest, he enjoys tucking himself into his crate with a cozy bed or his favorite blankets. Texas is a mellow dude who enjoys his downtime and is described as good in the house, not destructive, and doesn't typically bark unless someone approaches the door. He is house and crate trained. Unfortunately, Texas needs a new home because he doesn't get along with the resident cats. His current family adores him but believes a home without felines would be best for everyone.
