About Raptor

Raptor is a handsome 10-month-old Dachshund with a beautiful shaded red coat, ready to find his forever family! He's a sweet, loving, and loyal companion who gets along wonderfully with other adult dogs. While he can be a bit too playful with very young puppies, he's a gem with kids. Raptor is making great progress with crate training for both sleeping and naps. As he's still intact, he may lift his leg indoors, and a belly band is currently used. He's a "tweenie" size and is anticipated to be around 12-16 lbs when fully grown, though this can't be guaranteed.

Ideal Home

Raptor would thrive in a home with another adult dog where he can have a canine friend. He enjoys playful interactions and is used to being around other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Raptor is up to date on all vaccinations and deworming, and his rabies vaccination is valid through December 2026. He will be neutered before leaving or placed under a strict neuter contract. He has no known health issues.

Training & Support

Raptor is crate trained for bedtime and naps. He's learning to manage his male dog instincts indoors and currently wears a belly band.
