Cory

Cory is a super-sweet adult male Cocker Spaniel who is very friendly with people. He's mellow, low-energy, affectionate, and loves to be petted. Cory comes to us from a puppy mill in Busan, South Korea, and we're so happy he's now in Los Angeles looking for his forever home!

Ideal Home

Cory needs patient adopters who understand that potty training may be a long learning curve. Due to his past, he can be an extreme flight risk, so a home with no children where entrances and exits can be 100% controlled by adults is safest. He also does best with another confident dog to help show him the way.

Ongoing Health

Cory has dry eye and a corneal scar on his left eye, and he is non-visual in his right eye. This doesn't stop him from being a great companion, though!

Training & Support

Cory has a history of marking when co-habitating with other dogs and humping new dogs until he gets to know them, so he is not a good candidate for dog parks. He is not marking in his current foster home, which has no other pets. Force-free training is the only recommended method for dogs like Cory, as they are already fearful and require kindness.
