Meet Dassa Dog, a 3-month-old Great Pyrenees mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This sweet girl is full of puppy energy and loves playing with her foster family's resident dog and cats. Whether she is zooming around the yard, carrying her favorite little stick, or squeaking her favorite stuffed toy, Dassa is always ready for fun. Dassa is settling into home life beautifully and is learning all about being a beloved family companion. She has been doing really well with potty training and, so far, has had no accidents in the home. She is also working on crate training. She may whine a little when first going into her crate, but she settles down nicely. She already knows "sit" and is eager to learn, especially when treats are involved. One of Dassa's most adorable features is her lazy eye, and she has the cutest habit of tilting her head whenever she hears an interesting noise. She is as sweet as can be and loves attention from her people. While she enjoys short walks, she benefits even more from mental enrichment like toys, training, and games to keep her busy.
Ideal Home
Dassa would do best with a family where someone is home more often. Due to some food guarding tendencies, a home with older children would likely be the best fit. A fenced yard would be wonderful for this playful pup, but it is not required as long as she has safe supervision or a tie out while she continues learning.
Ongoing Health
All age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant are included.
Training & Support
Dassa is working on crate training and may whine a little when first going into her crate, but she settles down nicely. She already knows "sit" and is eager to learn, especially when treats are involved. She may bark briefly when she first goes into her crate or when she wants to play, but it is short lived.
