About Sunshine

Sunshine is a lovely 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who came to us as a stray with some wounds. She was microchipped, and after a brief stay at Kankakee County Animal Control, she returned to us when her owner never came forward. Sunshine is all spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find her forever family! Despite her rough start, Sunshine is a happy, loving, and ultimate cuddle bug. She enjoys the company of other dogs her size and has been wonderful with everyone who has given her attention.

Ideal Home

Sunshine would love a home where she can get all the cuddles she deserves. She is a bit grabby with treats due to her past, so an open palm approach works best for her.

Ongoing Health

Sunshine is up to date on vaccines and will be spayed soon.

Training & Support

Sunshine can be a little grabby with treats, so offering them with an open palm is recommended.
