Looking for a dog with sass, spirit, and just the right amount of sparkle? Meet Spunky, a 5-year-old, 30-pound mixed terrier who absolutely lives up to her name! Spunky is the perfect mix of playful energy and cozy companion. By day, she's all about zoomies, playtime, and showing the big dogs who's boss (size is just a suggestion, right?). By night, she transforms into a professional snuggler who believes couches and especially your bed were made just for her. Spunky is dog-friendly and loves to run and play, even with dogs twice her size. She is an extremely loyal companion who bonds deeply with her people and is an expert cuddler, with a dog bed being optional but a human bed preferred. Her personality is bold, spirited, and full of charm.

Ideal Home

Spunky would thrive in an adult-only home with one other dog to be her playmate and partner in fun. She is devoted to her people but appreciates a calm, predictable environment.

Ongoing Health

Spunky can be a bit shy and can be startled by loud or unexpected sounds like thunderstorms. She is still a work in progress when it comes to potty training, but she's learning!

Training & Support

Spunky can get nervous and snippy around children, so an adult-only home is recommended. Her reaction to cats is a "proceed with caution" situation.
