About Beasley

Beasley is a brave little beagle who continues to grow in confidence! He was rescued from the woods in Kentucky and was full of fear and unsocialized, but now he is ready for the right family to fall in love with him. He is undoubtedly stinking cute and he's a great cuddler in bed. His housetraining is on target, he walks great on leash and is very easy to care for. Beasley does enjoy walks and stays by your side, but he can get spooked easily so safety is important. He is pretty low key and likes to chill out on his dog bed which is up on the sofa. Beasley is not aggressive at all with food or treats. When he first arrived he wasn't sure about taking a treat from his foster mom. Now if she has food, he will come up on her lap. He loves bones, antlers and chew toys. He is learning to play with the other beagle... mostly he puts his butt in the air and jumps around. He does great with other dogs and cats and is okay with children, but he does prefer a quiet place and would probably do better with older people. It would be nice if they were home a lot, but he does not get anxious when left alone. His foster mom doesn't crate him when the family goes out and they have left him for up to 6 hours with no accidents or mischief. Beasley's rescue is not complete until someone's heart leads them to provide him a forever home with love and security. Will you be a rescuer with us for Beasley?

Ideal Home

Beasley would thrive in a home that can provide him with a securely fenced yard, as he can get spooked easily. He would also prefer a quiet environment and may do best with older people.
