Dexter

Meet Dexter, a handsome 6-year-old Red Nose Pit Bull who is ready for a fresh start and a loving family to call his own. Dexter came to us as an owner surrender because his previous family could no longer afford to care for him. When you first meet Dexter, he might be a little shy, but give him some time and you'll quickly see what a loving and friendly companion he truly is. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate personality shines through, and he really enjoys spending time with his people. Dexter appears to do well with other dogs when introduced slowly and properly, and we recommend meet-and-greets with any resident dogs to ensure a good fit.

Dexter would love a family who can be patient with him as he settles in, allowing his loving and affectionate personality to blossom.

Ongoing Health

Dexter's adoption fee of $175 includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchip.

Training & Support

Dexter may be a little shy initially but is a loving and friendly companion once he feels comfortable. With proper introductions, he appears to do well with other dogs.
