LEO

What’s black and white and a very good boy? Leo!! This handsome 3-year-old, 67lb boy is smart, energetic, and athletic. He loves his daily walks with his volunteer pals and has been a quiet houseguest in his foster home, enjoying daily walks with his foster family. Leo has done well meeting kids as young as four and resident small dogs. He is house-trained and will sometimes even bring you his leash to let you know he needs to go outside. Leo is friendly, smart, affectionate, and cuddly. He is incredibly smart and is motivated by treats, toys, affection, and praise. Leo is a favorite of both volunteers and staff and is amazing in playgroups with other dogs. He even shares his kennel with another resident dog!

Ideal Home

Leo would do well in a home with children and other small dogs. He does not respond well to negative corrections or physical handling to redirect his attention.

Ongoing Health

Leo is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Leo is house-trained and knows to use his leash as a signal to go outside. He is motivated by positive reinforcement.
