Maxwell / Emma

Emma and Maxwell are two incredibly sweet, gentle Cairn Terriers who have quickly become favorites at the shelter. They were brought to us by a friend of their beloved owner who sadly passed away, ensuring their wishes for their cherished companions would be honored. They've recently been groomed and are looking absolutely adorable! As Cairn Terriers, they will need regular grooming to maintain their coats. Both pups are housetrained and have previously lived with other dogs and cats.

Ideal Home

Emma and Maxwell would love a home where they can stay together and enjoy their golden years. Emma may try to dig out of a yard if left unattended, so a secure yard or indoor living is ideal.

Ongoing Health

Emma has experienced seasonal allergies in the past that sometimes required medication.

Training & Support

Emma has a tendency to dig if left unattended in the yard. Otherwise, they are well-behaved and have lived with other pets.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• A Martingale collar is required for adoption.
• Emma and Maxwell are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
• All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, up to date with age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, have received their rabies vaccination and tag, and are microchipped before going to their new homes. Our adoption fee helps cover these costs.

Transportation

Emma and Maxwell are currently located at H.A.L.O. We can arrange transport for approved adopters within a 50-mile radius.
