Sterling Bear the Certified Lover Boy

Sterling Bear is a handsome, approximately 2-year-old, 72 lb Lab mix with a heart of gold. He's the easygoing, go-with-the-flow companion every Lab lover dreams of. Sterling is intelligent, has wonderful house manners, and carries himself with the politeness of a true gentleman. He's the perfect blend of adventure buddy and snuggle pal, ready to melt into the couch with you after a day of exploring. He is also crate and potty trained, and knows a few basic commands.

Ideal Home

Sterling Bear would love a home with a nice big backyard where he can roam, chase squirrels, and relax in the sun. We have not seen him with children, but we believe he would make a great family dog.

Ongoing Health

As with any rescue, breed and age are a best guess. Sterling Bear is up-to-date on all vetting.

Training & Support

Sterling Bear is a smart boy who knows basic commands. He's very dog-friendly and enjoys playing with other happy-go-lucky dogs, but is also content without canine companions. He loves being around his favorite people and soaking up all the attention.

Transporation

Sterling Bear is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
