Teddy is a sweet, active adventure buddy who has overcome a painful start and is now ready for a loving home. After having his injured eye removed as a puppy, he has moved forward beautifully and has forgotten all about his past.

Ideal Home

Teddy would love an active adopter interested in sharing adventures. He enjoys hiking, trips to the store, getting out and about, playing ball, and relaxing with a bone on his bed or the couch. He is wonderful with people, dogs, and cats, though he may take a moment to warm up to new people. He does not require constant stimulation.

Ongoing Health

Teddy’s punctured, necrotic eye could not be saved and was surgically removed. He is now about a year old and weighs 65 pounds.

Training & Support

Teddy is phenomenal on leash and has “bring everywhere” status. He is a go-to cat-testing dog for the rescue, helping cats and kittens become comfortable around dogs.
