Meet Barry Sadler! This sweet boy is a dream, according to his foster mom. He absolutely loves attention and playing in the yard. Barry is also great with other dogs, so he could be a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household! He recently underwent treatment for heartworms and needs to remain on low activity while he recovers. Please note that he may continue to test positive for up to a year after treatment.

Ideal Home

Barry would love a home where he can get plenty of love and attention. He enjoys playing in the yard, so a space to do so would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Barry has completed treatment for heartworms and is on the road to recovery. He requires a period of low activity. He may test positive for heartworms for up to a year post-treatment.

• Visit our adoption center at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 during adoption hours: Wednesday 5-7 PM; Friday 6-8 PM; Saturday 10 AM-4 PM.

• Required adoption day items include a martingale collar and a non-retractable leash.
• Adoption donations are $275 for adult dogs. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards.
• Adoption radius is within 350 miles of Fredericksburg, VA. An out-of-state fee of $50 applies.
