About Kenya

Kenya is an adorable, energetic puppy, thought to be a Black Lab Mix. She is about 5 months old and currently weighs 25 lbs., with an estimated adult weight of around 45 lbs. Kenya is very smart, a quick learner, and alert. She came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky and was born around March 10th. Kenya is happy, calm, gentle, very friendly, and eager for a loving home. She is sociable and playful, and does well with other dogs. Kenya may be a bit too energetic for a senior dog or human.

Ideal Home

Kenya would thrive in an active household that can integrate a puppy's energy into their lifestyle. She needs a family committed to training and working with her to be her best self. A fenced yard is ideal, and she would likely enjoy living with another younger or middle-aged dog.

Ongoing Health

Kenya is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative, and is microchipped. Her spay surgery is included in her adoption fee.

Training & Support

Kenya is crate-trained and is working on good house manners, including housebreaking.
