Meet June - gentle, resilient, and ready for her fresh start.
June was rescued after surviving far more than any young dog should. She arrived extremely underweight, scared, and battling TVT, but she faced every treatment with quiet bravery. She is also likely a distemper survivor, with only a tiny front leg twitch to show for it. Today, June is healthy and cancer-free, and finally ready for a home of her own. She is sweet, calm, walks beautifully on leash, and gets along well with other dogs, though she would be just as happy as your one and only. Staff and volunteers adore her gentle spirit. After everything she has overcome, this girl deserves a soft place to land.
Ideal Home
June would be happy as the only pet or with other canine companions.
Ongoing Health
June is a likely distemper survivor and has a tiny front leg twitch as a result. She is currently cancer-free.

Transporation
June is located in Puerto Vallarta. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During May and June, it can be challenging to secure Canadian flight companions, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable. We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border. This remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
