Sterling Bear is the kind of gentle giant that Lab lovers dream about! This handsome fellow is approximately 2 years old and weighs 72 lbs. He's a truly special boy with a calm, steady temperament that makes life feel a little easier just by having him around. Sterling Bear is the full package: intelligent, friendly with other dogs, and possesses wonderful house manners. He's not about chaotic puppy energy; instead, he's a perfectly balanced companion who knows when it's time for a walk, playtime, or to simply relax beside you on the couch. He carries himself with politeness and brings a delightful sense of calm to any home.

Ideal Home

Sterling Bear would absolutely love a home with a nice big backyard where he can roam, chase squirrels, and soak up the sun. We haven't seen him with children yet, but based on his wonderful nature, we believe he would make a great family dog.

Ongoing Health

Sterling Bear is a rescue dog, and while we believe him to be around 2 years old, we cannot guarantee his exact age or breed. He has received all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

This smart boy already knows basic commands like "sit" and is crate and potty trained. He's a joy to have around and is eager to please his favorite people.

Sterling Bear is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. This system ensures every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
