Finley - Snuggle Bug, Smart and Great with Dogs! Fostered in Waterboro, ME!

Finley is a 3-year-old, 51-pound German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love to give! He's a snuggle bug at his core, happiest when he's by your side, and he absolutely adores his canine companions. Finley was a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his sweet, cuddly, and affectionate personality truly shines. He has a calm presence, only barking when someone approaches the house, and he's proven to be a quick learner, mastering the doggie door and settling well in his crate, especially with another dog nearby. While he enjoys his walks, he gets a bit excited to greet everyone, and we're working on leash manners. Finley has a touch of FOMO and loves to be part of the action, happily following his people from room to room.

Finley is doing wonderfully with house training and his crate routine. He is still learning to manage his enthusiasm on walks and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement for leash manners. He's a sensitive soul who blooms with confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
