Vergil

Vergil is a handsome 45-pound Border Collie with a heart of gold! He's a young boy who is crate and house trained, and he even knows a few tricks. Vergil is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He takes medication for anxiety and has bitten someone who was pinning him down. We believe with the right environment and someone who can meet his high energy needs, Vergil will be a wonderful companion. Border Collies are known for being excellent pets when their energy levels are properly managed, and Vergil truly deserves a second chance at a happy life.

Ideal Home

Vergil would thrive in a home that can provide him with ample opportunities to exercise his Border Collie energy. It's important for his new family to understand his past experience and provide a safe and calm environment.

Ongoing Health

Vergil is currently taking Prozac for anxiety.

Training & Support

Vergil is already house and crate trained and knows some basic commands. He did bite someone who was pinning him down, so he will need a patient and understanding owner who can manage his energy and provide him with the appropriate outlets for his intelligence and drive.
