Maggie Flowers is a vibrant, approximately 6-year-old pittie mix weighing around 50lbs. She approaches life with an infectious enthusiasm, finding immense joy in every activity, from playing fetch to simply rolling in the grass. Her foster affectionately calls this her "happy dance," and it's sure to bring a smile to your face. Maggie loves exploring the outdoors and is convinced she's the guardian of the yard, hilariously "protecting" it from squirrels. Despite her playful spirit, she's also a dedicated cuddle bug who cherishes family time and wants to be involved in all your activities. She has a particular fondness for Nerf footballs, excels at fetch, enjoys tug-of-war, and is an excellent swimmer, making water adventures a favorite.
Ideal Home
Maggie would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and an active family who wants their dog to be a true member of the household. She enjoys being included in daily life, whether it's for walks, backyard play, or relaxing indoors. Maggie would do best as the only dog in the home and is not a good fit for homes with cats due to her strong prey drive.
Ongoing Health
Maggie is up-to-date on all her vetting, which includes vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and she has been spayed.
Training & Support
Maggie is a smart girl who already knows commands like sit, down, wait, "go to your bed," and "in" for her crate. She is potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She also practices good manners, such as waiting at open doors. While she's generally good with children, she can get overly excited when greeting new people and may jump up. With continued consistency and training, she will continue to improve.
