Murphy

Murphy is a handsome Schnauzer mix boy, around 2 years old and weighing about 15 lbs. He's a very loyal companion, often described as a "velcro puppy" because he loves to be by his foster mom's side. Murphy is a social butterfly with other dogs and has shown no prey drive, so he would likely do well with cats too. He's also perfectly happy being the only dog in the home! Murphy is looking for a loving family to call his own. He would do wonderfully with gentle, older children. However, due to his sensitivity to sudden noises, he may not be the best fit for very young children or infants, as he can become startled. Murphy is a minimal shedder and will need regular grooming to keep his "hair" looking its best.

Ideal Home

A loving home with gentle, older children would be ideal for Murphy. He would be happy as the sole pet or with other dogs or cats. He is not recommended for homes with infants due to his sensitivity to loud noises.

Ongoing Health

Murphy is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered. He requires regular grooming due to his coat type.

Training & Support

Murphy is house-trained. While he is not aggressive, he can be easily startled by loud noises, so a calm environment is recommended.
