WINDER

Winder is a handsome senior gentleman who appreciates life in the slow lane. He spent a few weeks in a foster home where he showed he can be playful with other dogs and calm when left alone. Once he warms up to people, he's calm and playful. Winder is a trooper who has made an incredible recovery from hind end paralysis to walking on all fours thanks to laser treatment and physical therapy. He can be cautious when first meeting new people, but he warms up and has become great friends with everyone he's met. Winder enjoys quiet moments watching the lake and listening to the ducks. He's a sensitive soul with a bit of a worry streak, but once he feels secure, his true personality shines. In the clinic, he's been known to scoot around and play hide and seek during his physical therapy sessions. Everyone who meets him falls in love!

Ongoing Health

Winder is recovering from IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). He has undergone laser treatment and physical therapy to regain his mobility and is now walking on all fours. He would love a savvy foster or adoptive family prepared to support his continued recovery.

Training & Support

Winder can be cautious when meeting new people but warms up once he feels secure.
