Honey

Honey Comb is a sweet, affectionate, and silly 6-year-old terrier mix who weighs 68 lbs. She's a full-grown girl who loves nothing more than to be by your side, whether you're watching TV, reading, or just relaxing. She's a true cuddle bug who loves to snuggle, rest her head on your lap, or nuzzle into your neck for comfort. But don't worry, she's not a stage-five clinger! Honey Comb is also independent and can entertain herself with her favorite chew toys and puzzle games, making her an excellent work-from-home companion. When it's time for fun, she's always ready for a "Let's go outside!" moment, complete with happy bounces and adorable zoomies. She loves neighborhood walks, car rides, and meeting new people, both young and old. Her signature "stop, drop, and roll" is her charming way of asking for belly rubs! Honey Comb has excellent manners, is incredibly smart, and quickly learns household routines. She's respectful around food and a joy to live with.

Ideal Home

Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. She needs a fenced-in backyard for playing fetch and sunbathing. She prefers a quieter suburban or rural setting over a busy city, as she loves nature trails and hikes. A home without other dogs is ideal, as she prefers to soak up all the love and attention for herself. A feline-free home is also recommended. To ensure her safety and to prevent accidental bumps, children should be 4 years and older.

Training & Support

Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She communicates her need to go potty by "tap dancing" by the door and has never had an accident in the home. She is not destructive and can be trusted when left alone. She is happy to sleep in a kennel but would love to sleep with her forever family in bed or on a dog bed next to the bed.

• The adoption fee is $350, which includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, spay procedure, microchip, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, and any necessary vet care while in our care.
• An additional $250 transport fee covers the transportation from Honey Comb's foster home to her forever home.

Transportation

Honey Comb is currently in a foster home in Austin, TX. She can be adopted and transported to various locations; please visit wags.com for details on transport availability. Adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Please note that dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported.
