Meet Mocha!

This loving three-and-a-half-year-old Doberman/Golden Retriever mix is an 80-pound bundle of warmth and devotion, convinced he belongs on your lap! Mocha brings the best of both breeds, with loyalty, intelligence, and playful charm. He’s a joyful spirit at home, enjoying backyard romps, fetching his favorite toys, and playing with his smaller dog sibling. He’s a master cuddler and a sweet companion who knows how to unwind after a good round of zoomies. Mocha is house-trained, microchipped, neutered, and knows several handy commands like “sit,” “lie down,” “go,” and even “go to sleep.” His routine is simple: two meals a day, playtime, and lots of love!

Ideal Home

Mocha shines with his family and does wonderfully with older kids and familiar guests. However, he can be cautious around new adults. A calm home with thoughtful management during greetings and transitions is essential. He needs a confident caregiver who can guide him through new experiences. An experienced handler with large dogs, who is comfortable providing structure and perhaps has a fenced yard, would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Mocha is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

While Mocha is house-trained and knows several commands, he can be cautious around new adults and protective during surprise visits. He tends to pull on the leash when excited on walks, showing more eagerness than aggression. Consistent leash training and daily exercise will help him become the best walking companion.
