Navajo, a 6.5-year-old neutered male Pitbull mix weighing about 75 pounds, is a sweet, affectionate, and easygoing pup looking for his forever home! He's the perfect blend of playful and relaxed, happy to join you for a walk or snuggle up on the couch. Navajo enjoys playing with other dogs, especially in small groups, and is learning to read social cues well. He's polite and non-reactive on leash, though he might pull a bit when excited at the start of a walk. He's fully house-trained and crate-trained, and can be left alone without any issues. Navajo loves meeting new people and has done well with children. He's a toy enthusiast and a champion cuddler, always eager to be close to his people. He's also an excellent car rider, great at the vet, and has no issues with stairs. Navajo has no resource guarding issues.
Ideal Home
Navajo would thrive in a stable, moderately active home that enjoys daily walks, occasional outings, and lots of affection. He could do well as an only dog or with a compatible canine friend. He would do best in a cat-free home.
Ongoing Health
Navajo recently had dental work, including the removal of several damaged teeth. His remaining teeth are healthy, and he still enjoys chewing his favorite bones.
Training & Support
Navajo is generally well-behaved, but may occasionally need gentle redirection if he gets too excited during play. He is polite on leash and has made great progress with his doggy manners at daycare.
