Hi there! I'm Gertie, and it's so nice to meet you! I've been in rescue for a little over a month, and I've been working super hard on my fitness journey. I was and still am a bit on the hefty side, but with a new diet and exercise plan, I'm slowly but surely finding success. I absolutely LOVE my dog friends – they bring me so much comfort. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but that's just me settling in. I'm around 8 years old and I'm really looking forward to meeting you and becoming best friends who navigate life together.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Once an application is submitted, our volunteer adoption team will screen it.
• If your application is a potential match, it will be forwarded to my foster parent, who will contact you.
• My foster parent can answer any questions and schedule a meet-and-greet.

Transporation

I am currently in a foster home in Los Angeles, California. If you are applying from out of state, you will need to travel to Los Angeles to meet me and bring me home with you via car or in-cabin flight. We do not transport our dogs.
