Maggie

Maggie is an "honorary giant" at just 40#! This sweet girl was rescued from a terrible situation where she was used as a bait dog. Despite her past, Maggie is a loving soul who adores her humans and will happily roll over for belly rubs once she feels comfortable. She's even done beautifully around large groups of people at adoption events. Maggie is a 5-year-old, fawn American Pit Bull Terrier mix who is playful and eager to please. She enjoys playing with toys and running in the yard.

Ideal Home

Maggie would love to be your one and only snuggle buddy, as she is dog selective due to her past experiences. We do not know how she would do with cats.

Ongoing Health

Maggie has been medically cleared and is ready for her forever home.

Training & Support

Maggie would benefit from structured training and would do best with a firm voice and strong guidance. She is learning to walk much better on a leash.
