About Bella, the Girl Who Never Stopped Hoping

Bella is a 1-year-old, 55lb German Shepherd mix with a heart full of hope and a spirit ready to shine! She was found tied to a post with a note, a sad beginning for such a young, loving dog. But Bella's resilience is incredible. She has blossomed into an affectionate, silly, and spirited girl who is now vetted, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention.

Ideal Home

Bella is looking for an active home with someone who understands she'll need a little time to adjust and settle in. She thrives with exercise, playtime, and fun training games. Due to her tendency to want to chase cats, she would do best in a home without them.

Ongoing Health

Bella is currently healthy and up-to-date on all her veterinary care, including being spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Bella is a smart girl who is eager to please! She walks nicely on a harness, knows "sit" and "stay," and is house-trained and crate-trained. She is learning not to jump, as she just gets excited to meet new people! Bella can sometimes chew things she shouldn't when bored, so she'll do best with structure, toys, and plenty of activity. Her absolute favorite thing is a frozen peanut butter Kong, which she proudly takes to her crate.
