He's learning that being kind takes just as much strength as being tough. When someone gives him a chance, Spike proves himself to be dependable, thoughtful, playful and surprisingly gentle. Spike does need to be the only dog in the home. Beneath the nickname and the rough edges is a pooch who wants to belong, do the right thing, and be the best companion ever. Spike loves belly rubs, treats and running around the playpen chasing his favorite toys. <br /><br /> This animal is located at our Westhampton Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. We are open Tuesday-Sunday 11am-4pm.
