PIPER

Piper is a 6-year-old, 60-pound German Shepherd who is past the puppy stage and ready for the best years of her life! She's the perfect blend of playful, loyal, and loving. Piper enjoys a good game of fetch and then happily settles down close to her favorite people.

Sadly, Piper was abandoned by her previous family, but she hasn't lost faith in love and greets each day with hope of finding her forever home. She's fully vaccinated, house-trained, walks well on a leash, and is great with children. While she can be a bit shy and put on a tough act when meeting new people, she's truly a gentle soul who longs to feel safe and loved again. Her favorite things include playing fetch, carrying her special gingerbread toy, and spending time with her humans. Piper asks for little – just a comfy bed, some toys, and a loving family who will cherish her forever.

Piper would do best as an only dog or with a canine companion her size or larger.
