Louisiana - 35lbs, big personality, lots of love to give

Meet Louisiana, a spirited 9-month-old female, likely a Mountain Cur x Hound mix, who weighs around 30 lbs and is expected to reach about 40 lbs when fully grown. She's a bundle of love with a big personality, eager to find her forever family. Louisiana arrived as a stray and, when her time was up at animal control, we were happy to step in and give her the second chance she deserves.

Despite her uncertain past, Louisiana's spirit is incredibly bright. She's a friendly girl who loves everyone she meets and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She's always ready for interaction, leaning in for affection, and soaking up all the love she can get. Her gentle nature and hopeful eyes show she's been patiently waiting for her person.

Louisiana is ready to grow into an incredible companion and would thrive in a home that can offer her a safe environment, a consistent routine, and a family ready to shower her with love.

Ongoing Health

Louisiana has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations including DAPPv, Bordetella, and Rabies. She has also received deworming and broad-spectrum parasite prevention, as well as specific treatments for tapeworm, coccidia, and giardia. She is on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

As a young dog, Louisiana has a lot of potential. She's eager to please and will blossom with continued guidance and positive reinforcement as she settles into her new home.
